Eligibility to full membership of the association shall be open to holders of a veterinary medicine degree or any other equivalent veterinary qualification recognizable by the Uganda veterinary Board.
A full member shall then be one who has fulfilled all the financial obligations of the Association as stipulated in the constitution

Corporate members shall have no rights to: - vote, propose, second or object an application for ordinary, honorary or associate membership. Shall hold no position in any of the association offices or executive committee, not stand for elective posts or be nominated to the post but may participate in all other activities of the association

Associate members shall have all the privileges of the membership except being able to vote in general meetings and are not eligible to serve on the executive committee. They will pay a one time membership fee but no annual subscription fees
